Our Mission

Welcome to the NCEdCloud Guide. Our mission is incredibly simple: we aim to demystify the digital learning experience for students, teachers, and parents across North Carolina. The transition to digital education has brought incredible tools to our fingertips, but navigating the various portals, single sign-on systems, and applications can sometimes be overwhelming.

We saw a need for clear, jargon-free, human-written instructions on how to use the state's Identity and Access Management (IAM) service. Our comprehensive guides are designed to help you spend less time struggling with technology and more time focusing on what truly matters: education and academic success.

Who We Are

We are an independent team of educational technology enthusiasts and researchers. We do not work for the government, and we are not affiliated with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Our independence allows us to write objective, user-focused guides that directly address the most common frustrations users face on a daily basis.

Why We Built This Site

Often, official documentation can be overly technical or buried deep within district websites. We wanted to create a centralized, easily accessible hub where anyone—from a first-grade parent to a high school senior—can find the answer to questions like "How do I claim my account?" or "Why am I getting a login error?"
